Some notes:
The 1988 logo is well ahead of its time; the strong and simple design stands out from surrounding designs.
1992 through 1998 had some of oddest designs; the designers definitely expanded onto some uh… interesting color choices.
Attention to logo design seems to start in the mid-’80s—the ‘logos’ were hardly more than just colored typesetting before that.
